where to buy leopard geckos online.

do you guys know of a good site to buy geckos from? the site i was looking at, i guess the guy dosn't want my business because he wont answer my emails i sent to him. The only place that sells leopard geckos around me is petco and they have babies in sand so i'd rather not buy one from them...

Yeah you want to avoid petco definitely, good decision.

UNfortuantely can't help you with any good breeders in florida, but i can name you a few well known breeders in the US, which will very likely offer a courier service.

wow the urban gecko has some amazing animals, and some good prices too compared to what i've been seeing.

I know a lady in florida that would be perfect if you're anywhere near orlando. She is a long time breeder, member of the florida herp society in her area etc. VERY ethical bnreeder but doesn't advertise. She does a lot of reptile expos.

Yes, it's pretty hit or miss with Petco. Around my neck of the woods they keep most all of their reptiles on repticarpet but even that has it's problems. Toothless, my patternless, is actually from petco. He's never had a problem eating, pooping, or shedding. But lots of people in my college town are selling reptile accessories due to their reptiles "keeling over" as they put it. :\

I wouldn't buy my gecko from a pet shop because you don't know exactly how they've been kept. I would go for a breeder to be honest.
